SBHS Library: Lincoln Award

All students are invited to participate in The Abraham Lincoln Illinois High School Book Award
The Abraham Lincoln Award is sponsored by the Illinois School Library Media Association (ISLMA) and is designed to encourage high school students to read for personal satisfaction and become familiar with authors of young adult and adult books. The award is named for Abraham Lincoln, one of Illinois' most famous residents and himself an avid reader and noted author. In order to participate, the students will read at least four books from the list below and vote on their favorite book. Voting takes place in February. The books can be found in a special display in the fiction area of the library for easy access.

2010 Winner: City of Bones by Cassandra Clare
