REGISTRATION AND COURSE OFFERINGS
Fine Arts will be an important area of growth for SBPS. Beginning in 2010, a new HS Music Department will offer Band, Chorus, and Digital Music Composition while our HS Fine Arts department will be expanded to offer Contemporary Art, Digital Photography, Ceramics, and 3-Dimensional Design.
Other new High School Classes offered in 2010:
Bengal Prep Class (Freshman course to cover study skills, organization, using laptops for learning, orientation to St. Benedict)
Creative Writing, Sports Writing, Early Childhood Development, Around the World in 60 Days (Geography), Science Seminar (independent project-based science study), a high-level Chemistry extension class, Sociology, a high-level Geometry honors class to bridge these students to AP calculus, British Literature PACC course, and PE courses based on seasonal “conditioning” needs of athletes
