SBHS Library: Book Club
Book Club membership is open to all students throughout the year. Books are chosen by member consensus. The only requirements are that members:
- do their best to read the book, and
- participate in the book discussion.
The club meets in the library once or twice per month during lunch, usually on a Thursday.
The next meeting date is Thursday, May 13, 2010. Members should bring their lunch to eat in the library, and Ms. Brada will provide a dessert. Members should be at least halfway through the book by the first date, and finished by the second.
- The freshmen/sophomores' book choice is Unwind by Neal Shusterman (1st meeting).
- Juniors & seniors will be meeting to discuss Graceling by Kristin Cashore (2nd meeting). This will be the final meeting for Jr/Sr Book Club this year.
Both books are on the 2011 Abe Lincoln Award list.
